Beñat Chassevent (1956 - Biarritz), is chairperson of the Eusko Arkeologia association, which brings together archeology enthusiasts. These workers behind the scenes carry out major excavation work in the Northern Basque Country with the aim of attracting researchers in this area and increasing public awareness about local heritage. We met them on the hills around Banca, close to a mine which has still not revealed all its secrets.
