"Frémeaux & Associés" recently released a compilation of French traditional music under the direction of Guillaume Veillet. A CD is dedicated to the South-West with recordings from between 1939 and 2006. Amongst the extracts proposed four are from the Northern Basque Country and three are unpublished: the improvisers Mattin and Meltxor in Garazi in 1947 (already released), the young singers Mathieu and Arnaud Etxahun - also recorded in 1947 - ("Adios izar ederra"), an extract from the Souletin mascarade and finally the singer Ganizon Bergara recorded in Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle in 2000 ("Sortu naiz Iparrean").
