Oskar Alegria (1973 – Pamplona, Navarre) was a TV journalist. His need for freedom led him to Hélette, as well as to cinema: his first full-length film, Emak Bakia Baita, was a huge success. The Basque Cultural Institute ordered four films for the SOKA exhibition from him. By spurring on the former dancers Filipe Oihanburu and Jean Ospital, he adds his own colour to the exhibition’s encyclopaedic knowledge.
