Mikel Dalbret (1941 – Sousse, Tunisia) dropped everything to become a painter. He draws the world he sees through his sharp eyes, using his brush freely and drawing colour from his deepest intimacy. With the support of the Basque cultural institute, he will exhibit his latest paintigs at Larraldea in Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle from 30 August to 23 September.
