Dagourette

"This merchant's house was built in the early-17th century on the site of a former shipyard. The vast ground floor was used to store goods unloaded on the quayside. Over the following centuries it became a monastery then a hospital. Today only a tower for abandoned children in the lateral façade survives. Restored to its original state at the end of the 20th century, today it houses the Basque and History of Bayonne Museum."
