Antton Abbadia (1810-1897) was a scientist, astronomer, geographer and cartographer, patron of the Basque language and culture. On the occasion of the bicentenary of his birth, we visited his castle, perched on the cliffs in Hendaye, in the company of the guide Serge Lonca.
