The Basque cultural institute is now a recognized resource centre and a privileged partner when it comes to Basque culture. Its legitimacy is based on:

• its experience of thirty years;
• its professional skills in the field of cultural engineering;
• its capacity to be at the heart of the networks.

Thanks to this position, the BCI brings its expertise and advice to local authorities as well as accredited performing arts structures. Thus, the Basque cultural institute assumes an important role as promoter and coordinator in matters of integration and development of Basque culture in different cultural policies.
