''Klik'', multimedia information terminals on Basque culture

"Klik" interactive terminals enable multimedia applications to be consulted on the Basque language and culture.

Each terminal is accessible to two people simultaneously. Sound is provided through headphones and browsing through interactive programmes using a tactile screen. A surface area of between 6 and 9 m2 is required to install them.

By default the terminals are delivered with the following programmes:

  • "Kantuketan, the Universe of Basque song"

    This quadrilingual application (Basque French English Spanish) contains almost 120 Basque songs and the accounts of both singers and musicians in addition to archive images which were presented as part of the Kantuketan exhibition (2001-2006).

  • "Navigating the Basque Country"
    The aim of this programme in four languages is to make the main socio-economic, cultural, linguistic and historical aspects of the Basque Country available to as wide an audience as possible. Multimedia sequences are used for this purpose. Please note that this application is published in DVD format.
